My first yarn

Well, she isn't perfect, but here she is in all her glory and I am a proud mummy of my very first homespun skein of yarn, I finally plucked up the courage this morning to try my hand at plying and the result is the pic above. There's probably not enough to make anything, but she will take pride of place in my stash (next to the Jojoland Harmony) and I will admire her for her uniqueness as my first ever homespun
Welcome to my stash sweetie!

And so you should be proud! I carried my first skein with me everywhere I went for at least two weeks.....I was so damn tickled with myself :-) It's gorgeous - cherish it!
Glad that your goodies arrived so quickly. Thank you for the Christmas wishes...especially those relating to the motorizing of my carder - must remind Santa!

There's nothing like the first skein to give you a sense of achievement. Well done!
